Dr Dennis Gross Exfoliating Body Treatment Review...

Dr Dennis Gross Exfoliating Body Treatment Review

I absolutely adore Dr Denis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peels, so I was naturally both curious and excited when they released a body version. I bought Caroline Hirons. Non-Advent Advent Kit Bag and it included a box of these cloths, which I was delighted about and now that I've been using them for a while, I want to share my thoughts with you today.

These cloths are versatile in their use - perfect for ingrown hair prevention, general exfoliation all over the body, tan removal and they help to prevent 'chicken skin' which can occur on thighs and the backs of upper arms.

They contain a blend of both alpha and beta hydroxy acids, which exfoliate the skin on a surface level but  as the beta hydroxy acids are oil soluble and can penetrate the skin on a deeper level, they also clear sebum buildup. They also contain aloe vera, which hydrates the skin so you don't need to worry about it being stripped.

The cloths are actually quite big and you use them by using them folded, in upwards motions on dry skin, then when the cloth is drying out, you unfold and continue on other areas of the body until the cloth is completely dry.

I can confirm that these really work - they leave the skin super soft and smooth and it's amazing to see how much tan comes off even when you think that you've pretty much removed it all! I don't find them to sting the skin at all and my skin doesn't feel stripped. They're a great alternative for those who find traditional body scrubs to be too messy or too much effort, or simply don't have the time to use them. It's recommended to use them twice weekly, although they are pricey so I am sticking to once weekly until I win the lotto jackpot!

Overall, I am really impressed by the Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Exfoliating Body Treatments and will definitely be repurchasing them.

Available from Look Fantastic, Space NK, Cult Beauty and Sephora UK.

Have you tried exfoliating body treatments or do you prefer traditional body exfoliators? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
