Happy St Patrick's Day! Don't snooze on these Irish brands...

Best Irish Beauty Brands 2026

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm a very proud Irish woman so I'd love to share some of my favourite homegrown beauty brands with you today. In the last decade especially, we have seen huge growth in Irish beauty brands and I love it! The quality of everything I mention in this post is excellent, on a par with so many other (possibly better known outside of Ireland) brands and I'd love for you to consider these when making your next beauty purchase!

Sculpted By Aimee: Starting with what is probably the best known Irish beauty brand, and with very good reason. It draws comparison with Charlotte Tilbury, which is flattering but not without merit. The quality of the products is the same but Sculpted has a more affordable price tag and doesn't have the outlandish claims of products being magic! I think that most people will have seen or heard of her Cream Cushion Foundation, which was a recent release and it is totally worth the hype. This is a lightweight, buildable coverage foundation that makes skin look fresh and bouncy. It is perfect for my dry skin but oily skin will need to set it with a powder. It's a nice sized compact that is great to take out with you for on the go top ups. It's also refillable, which is brilliant. I've also used primers, blushes and highlighters from this brand and all have been top notch quality - not a single disappointment among them. I've only heard great things about the skincare, so that's next on my list of things to try. I promise you won't be disappointed by this brand.

The Smooth Company: If you find flyaway hairs difficult to tame, you need to get to know this brand! It all started with The Smooth Stick, which is a tube of product with a mascara wand applicator, that will tame flyaways/broken hair/regrowth but without making it crispy. In fact, the ingredients are nourishing (Aloe Vera and Vitamin E among them) and the hold lasts all day. I have found this so useful on my hair regrowth journey, where I almost have a fringe (albeit in an uneven one) with new growth. I also love their Smoothing Travel Brush, which is the perfect handbag sized brush for running through my hair during the day or on an evening out. I also hugely recommend their Hair Styling Cream, which I purchased after my hairdresser said it was the best product she had ever used for when she does slick back buns or pony tails, even beating salon brands. I was wary of tying my hair back very much because of the hair loss I was experiencing - I didn't want to put extra tension on it but this product is nourishing, dries in weightlessly and keeps my hair in place all day/night. They have so many more products that I want to try but everything so far is heaps better than any similar products I've used in the past.

Ealu: I first tried some of these products in my local beauty salon and was immediately hooked because of the scent - it reminds me of holidays because it smells of coconut and jasmine (a beautiful combination). Sometimes scented products can dry your skin out but these products are super nourishing. They feel indulgent without the hefty price tag often associated with luxury bath and body brands. For the softest skin of your life, use the body sand once a week. It has a sugar/sand texture, which is applied to damp skin and then massaged in to create a foam that leaves skin feeling baby soft to touch. Follow with body drench and you will feel like you're floating on air and offering a limb to anyone to touch and feel how soft and smooth it is. A little bit of everyday luxury. Next on my list to buy is the body gloss, which I have tested and it adds a gorgeous glow to the skin without feeling greasy - perfect for special occasions and holidays!

Cocoa Brown: One of the first Irish tanning brands, Cocoa Brown offers express (1 hour) tans, which are perfect if you don't want to ruin your bed sheets with overnight tan, or for last minute occasions when you want to be golden but are short on time. Sunshine serum because it hydrates my dry skin, whilst tanning - this is especially good in the colder months when my skin can look scaly!!

Brow Aid: Founded by a former makeup artist who then went on to open a salon and academy, which focused solely on brows, who then decided during the pandemic to create a range of brow products that could be used at home but give professional looking results. As I have mentioned before, brows are my least favourite part of my makeup to do but I find the Masterstroke Brow Trio makes it so easy. As the name suggests, this is a 3 in 1 brow product with a spoolie (essential on all brow pencils), a retractable pencil and a micro brow pen in one slimline pencil. It's so easy to use with the slanted pencil and micro brow pen making it easy to mimic the look of brow hairs. I will definitely try more from the brand as and when I need to replace my other brow products because I'm super impressed and have only heard great things. If you don't like doing your brows (or even if you do!), you need some Brow Aid products in your life.

POCO Beauty: Founded by a previous model, Pippa, this brand has gone from strength to strength since its inception. I have yet to try any of its newly released skincare, however I love and can highly recommend Universal Glow and Suede Sculpt sticks. Universal Glow is a great primer for anybody who loves their skin to look glowy (ideal for dry skin, which tends to look flat and dull), or it can also be worn on its own. It doesn't feel heavy, although it does hydrate, and it offers SPF 30 protection. The Suede Sculpt sticks are ideal for adding quick and easy definition to the face without any harsh lines because they blend so well.

Max Benjamin: I'm a huge candle and diffuser fan and I have used so many high end brands - some I love, some have disappointed but I had to mention Max Benjamin because they have some beautiful scent combinations and the quality is excellent. I love that the candles burn evenly and have a great scent that will fill the room but without overpowering it. I have a few of their diffusers placed throughout the house, which I can smell and are often commented on, but they don't overwhelm. The diffusers are refillable and they last a few months so they are good value. They make great gifts because they are luxurious without the hefty price tag.

Rathbornes: Another fabulous candle and diffuser brand, which also includes hand & body washes and lotions in its range. These products have the most beautiful scent combinations in luxury packaging, ranging from travel size to large 3 wick candles. I adore using the shower gel and matching lotion because the scent lingers for hours on my skin and also fill the bathroom with beautiful fragrance. Luxury without the crazy price tag!

Have you tried any of these brands? I would love to hear! I know that so many people rave about Hildun Beauty and I have just placed an order, so expect to see some reviews soon!
