Glowing cheek products....

Glowing cheek products

If you're a regular reader, you'll know that I love dewy/glowing skin and I also like glowy blush and highlighter - nothing that can be seen from space, but I find that blushes with some added highlight give my skin some life in an instant. I want to share some of my favourites with you today...

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wands: I've raved about these so many times on the blog that regular readers might be bored at this stage but they really are worth the hype! I won't lie, I'm not the biggest fan of the sponge tip applicator as it can be very messy, but I'll get over that for the product inside. You can apply directly to the cheeks, or dabbed onto the hand and then applied - whichever you prefer. I love how these instantly brighten my complexion as the regular ones have some highlighter intertwined with the blush colour (there are matte ones available also, depending on preference).  A separate highlighter isn't always necessary when you use these, depending on blush placement and preference.

Rodial Blush Drops: I only have the minis but they're almost gone so I'll be buying full sizes soon. Again, these add glow and radiance to the skin. They don't disappear when blended in and last for a good 7/8 hours on the skin. I love to layer two shades to get a fresh look.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush: If powder blushes are more to your taste, you can't go wrong with these! They have a marbled effect with highlighter woven in between the colour and no two blushes are exactly the same, as some contain more blush than highlight and vice versa. These apply evenly to the cheeks and boost radiance in an instant! I adore them!

Milani Luminoso Blush: A cheaper option that also works really well to add glow to the cheeks, I love the peachy shade of this blush on my medium skin tone as it really helps to make me look healthier than I actually am! My skin comes alive with a quick sweep of this blush on my cheeks!

Nars Orgasm: Finally, a cult classic! I adore this blush because the coral-pink shade is very flattering, it's a finely milled powder so it applies evenly and the shimmer running through it is also very fine, so there are no chunky glitter particles on the skin. This is the only blush that I have ever repurchased... twice! I've worn it for around 17/18 years! If you're unsure of using a liquid blush, I'd highly recommend this (although I am tempted to also buy the liquid version!).

Are you a fan of a matte or glowy cheek? I'd love to hear your favourites!
