June favourites featuring Marc Jacobs, tarte, bareMinerals, Oils of Heaven, Color Excellence Highlights Brightener & more!

I cannot believe that we are halfway through the year! The fact that it is the end of June and it's raining as I write this doesn't seem right - hopefully the sun will make an appearance soon! This month I have a mixture of products to share with you: make-up, skincare, one bodycare and one haircare. Although I had a major spree in Sephora last month, I haven't yet had the chance to use all of the products because since coming home, my health has declined and my medications have increased so I'm been struggling for the last few weeks and haven't had the energy to have a good play with the eyeshadow palettes, in particular. I will share my thoughts on them when I have had a good chance to get to know them. I have used some of new purchases and the ones that impressed me most are included here today.

Latest in Beauty : the Glamour Summer Edit

Beauty Boxes can be very hit & miss, with frequent repeats so I don't subscribe to any and prefer to buy as & when they interest me, once I know what is in them. I find the mini products very useful when I am going on holiday, but also the sizes are usually generous enough for me to get a good enough impression of a product and whether or not it suits my skin/hair and if I like it, which is especially useful when it comes to expensive products. Case in point is the new Latest in Beauty Glamour Summer Edit Box - as soon as I saw the Oribe Dry Texturising Spray, I knew I had to buy it because I have wanted to try the Oribe product for a very long time. The box is priced at £20, yet the products have a value of £104 so I can safely say that this is a bargain!

June 2015 favourites - a year on & do I still love them?

Before I started blogging, I used to watch youtube monthly favourites videos and read monthly favourite blog posts and wonder if the vlogger/blogger really rotated their products that often that they would actually have new/different favourites each month. Then I started blogging and realised that, yes, it is possible to have new favourites each month! I rarely post more than 6 favourites because my staples are always in the background but when I was starting to compile this month's list, it got me thinking to what I was loving this time last year and whether I still enjoyed using them, hence today's post! I will link last year's post here so you can take a read if you want to, but all products will be mentioned here again with my updated thoughts on them. I'd love to hear if you are still loving your favourites from this time last year too?

Five cleansers for dry skin featuring Omorovicza, Aurelia, Oskia & more!

I have a bit of a thing for cleansers - there is just nothing nicer than taking your makeup off at the end of the day (slight exaggeration, but it's something I really enjoy doing!). I love taking the time to massage products in and making sure my skin is thoroughly clean and ready for the next step. I like cleansers that will cleanse thoroughly without stripping my skin because my skin is dry enough without using products that will aggravate it further. Today I am sharing five cleansers that from my current skincare collection that I reach for most often. There are some other cleansers that I have previously used and love, but just don't currently own, that I would also recommend for the dry skinned ladies out there - Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm and Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. These cleansers will also suit other skin types too, but in my experience, they work really well for dry skin.

Recent lipstick and gloss additions featuring Kat Von D, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Marc Jacobs & more!

I went a little bit lip product crazy when I visited Sephora last month (haul here) and today I want to share my initial thoughts on the six lip products that I bought and show you swatches of each of them. There are two liquid lipsticks and four glosses here - I know that liquid lipsticks are really having a moment but my personal preference has always been a gloss! Let's get started!

My favourite discoveries of the year so far featuring BECCA, Charlotte Tilbury, Estee Lauder & more!

Sorry for my lack of blogging recently, but my holiday took a lot out of me, then my meds were doubled and I was on doctor's orders to rest when I got back so that all culminated in there being only one blog post since my return and a week of no make-up, which is pretty ironic given my Sephora haul!  Around this time last year, I posted about my favourite discoveries of the year so far and thought I would do it again this year. I'm only including make-up in this one because I could probably write a whole other post on skincare and I'm not including any of the products in my recent haul because they haven't been thoroughly tested yet. So let's get into it!

A big, fat Sephora haul featuring Tarte, Sunday Riley, Viseart, Anastasia Beverly Hills & lots more!

This Sephora haul has been a long time coming! I've been pretty good with my beauty spending since we booked our holiday to Orlando in January because I knew I would want to splurge in Sephora - and splurge, I did!! We had an absolutely amazing holiday in Disney World and because we were having such a fun time, I didn't want to spend a lot of time shopping so I only went to Sephora and Bath & Body Works (although I kinda wish I had gone to Ulta too!). I visited two Sephora stores and neither was very big or very well stocked on some of the brands/products I wanted but both had very friendly staff who weren't overly pushy. I became a VIB Rouge member on my second visit, so it wasn't that everything I wanted was out of stock (as you can tell from the picture above!) and I am delighted with all that I bought! I mainly stuck to buying products that aren't available to buy in store in Ireland so that it wouldn't be a wasted opportunity. So let's get into it! I've decided to break it down into categories - skincare, eyes, face, lips and sundries!
