May Favourites featuring Marc Jacobs, Omorovicza, Algenist, blogs, youtubers & more!

This favourites post is going up a little earlier than other months because I am going on holiday tomorrow and won't be blogging while I am away! I have been looking forward to the end of May since we booked our holiday in January and it feels like the year has flown by. This month I have mainly skincare products to share with you but also want to tell you about the blogs I've enjoyed reading & my current favourite youtuber, so let's get started!

Holiday make-up bag featuring MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Stila and more!

My holiday make-up bag contents have definitely changed over the years - back in the day when I went on girly holidays several times a year, I used to bring almost every item of make-up I owned and it included lots of glitter, shimmer and bronzer. My friends and I used to create a different make-up look every night and never missed a night out so we would need enough make-up with us to create 7 or 14 different looks, depending on how long we were away for. As the years progressed, I whittled my make-up choices down to products that would enhance my tan and suited my skin and overall look rather than what was on trend and more recently, it has been narrowed down even further because I don't wear any make-up for pool/beach days and because I am ill (and that doesn't change on holiday!), we rarely have a night out - it is generally just an evening meal and maybe a drink or two so I don't tend to go very O.T.T. with my make-up. This holiday is slightly different, however, because we are going to Disney World so we will be out & about during the day (albeit in a wheelchair for me) and there will be lots of photographs so I won't want to go bare-faced! I have been musing over what make-up products I will bring with me for the last few weeks and today I am going to share my picks with you.

Sephora Wishlist featuring Marc Jacobs, Sunday Riley, BECCA & more!

On Saturday, some of my family & I are going to the U.S.A. for the first time and whilst the kids (big and small) are very excited at the prospect of spending a week in Disney World, Sephora will be my Magic Kingdom! I have never been in a Sephora before and whilst I know that we can now order online, nothing will beat actually bring able to browse in store. I have a wishlist as long as my arm (what beauty junkie doesn't?!) and today I am going to share some of the items from my wishlist with you but I would also love to hear your recommendations! I need to have a base list to start with when I go there, otherwise I might get overwhelmed and not buy anything! (Who am I kidding?!)

If I could only keep 10 items of make-up featuring Armani, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, YSL, Hourglass & more!

When I saw this post on Rachel's blog last month (check her blog out if you haven't already because she is a very talented make-up artist), it got me thinking - imagine if I could only keep 10 make-up products, what would they be? To be honest, I shudder at the thoughts of it! Of course there are more important things in life than make-up and of course I would manage with only 10 products if I had to, but I couldn't imagine being so restricted - even just having 10 eyeshadows would be tough, never mind just 10 products in total! I thought long and hard about it and found that some came to mind instantly and others took a little longer to choose but today I am going to share what made my top ten!

Empties & Speedy Reviews #24 featuring This Works, Clinique, Origins, Nivea, La Roche Posay & more!

I'm back with another empties & speedy reviews instalment! I'm delighted that I have pretty much kept to my resolution of using up products before opening or buying more. With skincare, I tend to have a few products of the same type on the go but they are always used up these days whereas I used to be so bad at opening products and then just moving on to the next best thing and was left with shelves overloaded with unused products! I have a mix of skincare, bodycare and a few miscellaneous products to share my thoughts on today so let's get started!

My favourite single eyeshadows featuring Nars, Urban Decay and Seventeen

As you all know, I'm a big eyeshadow palette addict and it is rare that I buy any single eyeshadows but there are some exceptions to that & I'm going to share some of my favourites with you today. I have a lot of individual MAC eyeshadows but I depotted all of them and put them together in a palette so I don't count them as single eyeshadows.

Recent purchases #28 featuring Kerastase, This Works, Oskia & more!

Long time, no blog! Every 4th week, I have to take an extra course of antibiotics and they generally make me feel more ill and not up to doing very much. I also have to be careful not to overdo things because I'm going on holiday in 3 weeks and I can't afford to relapse before then. I'm back to my normal meds this week so I'm back getting my blog on and today I'm sharing my recent purchases.
