Honest reviews, regular hauls and all things beauty.

Recent purchases #23 featuring Essie, Aurelia, Clinique, This Works and more!

So whilst I was on bed rest recently, I did a bit of online shopping & thought I'd share my purchases with you today! These weren't all bought in one hit but I waited to photograph them all together. I have a mixture of skincare, make-up and some body care so I'll start with skincare, which is always my favourite!

The Loop Duty Free Wishlist!

I've been quite ill for the last few weeks and have really missed blogging but I wasn't allowed to move my head very much and was on strict bed rest so it just wasn't possible to get my laptop out! I'm (hopefully, health permitting) going on holiday next month and I've been thinking about it to pass the time & distract myself! One of my favourite parts of going on holiday is browsing and shopping in Duty Free. The Loop offer a Shop & Collect service, which is a fantastic idea if you are bringing hand luggage only because you can collect your items on return or if you don't have much time to spend in Duty Free, but know what you want to buy because you can order & pay in advance and collect as soon as you pass through security or even better if your other half is flying solo & you want to be sure you get the correct products! I'm not sponsored by them by the way, I just think that it's a fantastic service! Today, I am sharing my current wishlist & I will hopefully tick a few of these off when I go on my holiday next month!

Empties & speedy reviews #14 featuring Kerastase, Elemis, Too Faced, Kiehl's, Lauren's Way, MAC & more!

My empties bag is full again so it's time to share my thoughts and do some speedy reviews! I have a mixture of hair, body and skin care and two miscellaneous and two make-up items. I'll begin with haircare. I finished a massive 1 litre bottle of Kerastase Bain De Force shampoo. I absolutely love Kerastase as a brand and the Resistance range, in particular, because it suits my dry/damaged hair. This massive bottle has lasted a whole year and I find that my hair is stronger and less prone to breakage when I use this regularly. I have already repurchased it and would recommend the Resistance range to anybody who has damaged hair.

My top summer lip picks featuring Clinique, Charlotte Tilbury, Chantecaille & more!

In summer, I tend to favour a bright lip because I think that it lifts my complexion and I go lighter with my base, which I think lends itself to a bright lip also. Today I am going to share my favourite lipsticks and glosses for summer.

Skincare worth the hype

I'm a skincare fanatic and am always on the lookout for products that will add hydration, clear congestion and add radiance and plumpness to my skin. When I read about hyped up products, I often wonder if beauty bloggers are raving about them just because the products were sent to them or would they actually spend their own money on them. I've bought some hyped up products in the past that really didn't live up to the hype - for me. Today I am sharing with you products that I believe are worth the hype.

A summer essential: Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray

What amazing weather we have been having here in Ireland and also in the UK? I'm definitely not one to complain about the sun, although I can understand why some people don't like  it - especially if they are stuck in an office all day or on public transport, where the heat is stifling. Fear not, the product that I am sharing with you today is perfect for this time of year.

One year Blogiversary giveaway!

I can't believe that I have been blogging for one whole year! I have enjoyed every moment of it and connecting with so many like-minded people. I absolutely love reading your comments, recommendations and tips. I don't think I will ever tire of blogging! To celebrate this milestone, I've decided to run a giveaway. My most read post from the past year is my review of the Smashbox Step by Step Contour Stick Trio so I thought that they would make the perfect prize! Recent purchases #22 featuring Revlon, Stila, Too Faced, Clinique & more!

I've been shopping again! I just picked up a few bits that I needed and then some that I wanted. Some are repurchases - I like to try a large variety of products so if I repurchase something, then you know it is good! The first repurchase is Stila Stay All Day Liquid Waterproof Liner (€17.60). This is a brilliant eye liner, it doesn't budge (my eyes have a tendency to tear up in bright sunlight), is really black and very easy to apply. I bought this last summer and loved it so when I realised that I needed a new liquid liner, this was the first one to spring to mind. I think Stila products are very underrated in the beauty world for some reason, but I love everything I have tried from them.
