An eyebag instant eraser? Could we really be that lucky! This product is that latest in the lineup of the L'Oreal Revitalift range and I was kindly sent three products to try. Apparently 1 in 2 women changed their mind about getting a procedure after trying this cream - impressive! But what are my thoughts on the eye cream and lineup in general? Read on...
Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Age-Correcting Serum*: I'll start by saying that if you're under 30, this range probably isn't for you - certainly if you're in your early 20s, it's not necessary. Given that I'm well over that age bracket, I was delighted to trial this serum. Anything with peptides and I'm in! This is not just any old serum, it will replace the need for individual products as it does the job of three serums in just one! This contains Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides so if you usually use two or three individual serums, I would highly recommend trying this instead. It aims to improve the appearance of wrinkles, improve skin firmness, smooth the skin and improve uneven skin tone. Personally, I think it does all of those things, which skincare snob here didn't think a drugstore product could! Immediately after use, my skin feels more hydrated and brighter but with consistent and continued use, I can see that my fine lines are less visible and my skin tone is more even - my facialist even commented on it and was shocked when I said it was from a drugstore brand rather than a salon brand. An absolute 10/10 from me. It doesn't pill, absorbs well and just ticks every box for me!
Revitalift Laser Triple Action Anti-Ageing Day Cream*: This moisturiser has the same aims as the serum but it also contains pro-retinol, which helps to boost collagen. This won't replace your retinoid product if you already use one, and is an introduction to the ingredient if you haven't used it before. It also contains peptides, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C, so it really is a powerhouse product. I really enjoy using this cream and it's the combination of the two products that has given my the results mentioned above. It's not too rich, yet is very nourishing, it layers well and doesn't pill. It feels comfortable on my skin, which feels instantly hydrated and refreshed when I apply it. Overall, I have no notes!
Revitalift Eye Bag Instant Eraser*: This is supposed to be the star of the show - the product that has made many people change their minds about having a cosmetic procedure. Too good to be true? I think so. I have to just say it - I hate this product! The texture is so uncomfortable on the skin for me. Yes, it will 'freeze and fill' the under eye area but at what cost? I'd rather see some fine lines than go around feeling like there is something heavy, like polyfilla, on my skin! But that's just me and my preferences! You apply a tiny amount over makeup by patting it into the area (also works on the 11 lines and forehead!), then avoid making any facial expression for 15 minutes while it sets/sinks in. There is a noticeable difference but not enough to make me want to use it regularly. If you are very conscious of bags in that area and don't mind feeling uncomfortable (or maybe you won't!), then maybe give it a shot but it's a no from me!
Have you tried any of these products? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
