Cult Favourites 2017: Bath/Body/Hair

I hope you've been enjoying this series of 2017 Cult favourites, which coincides with Cult Beauty's Cult Product of the year campaign. You can win a £100 Cult Beauty voucher daily so keep reading for more details on that! Today I am focusing on bath, body and hair products and I only have five products to talk about as I'm not overly adventurous in this area! At the end I will choose one of the five to be my Cult Product of this category!

Ouai Treatment Masques: Ouai is a brand that I have been gradually getting to know over the past few months and it is love! (a post on my Ouai faves coming soon!) Initially, I was unsure if there'd be enough product in this sachet for my long hair, but I was completely wrong! There is enough product in each sachet to coat my hair, I then leave it in for around 15 minutes before rinsing to find that my hair is silky soft and when it is dried, it looks so glossy. These are, without doubt, the best hair masks I have ever used. My hair feels stronger and has less split ends since I started to use these once weekly. £25 for 8 sachets.

Ouai Texturizing Hairspray: I have used a few texturizing sprays before (all more expensive than this one) but none are as good as this one. I spray a few spritzes of  this into the roots of my hair and also in the lengths and it gives my hair a lot more body and movement without any stickiness. It doesn't actually feel like I have any product in my hair - no crunchy or gritty feeling, which is good because I hate that. It also doesn't weigh my hair down It's an all round winner! £22 for 130g.

Ameliorate Skin Smoothing Body Polish: This is both a physical and chemical exfoliant that isn't at all harsh on the skin but is very effective. It has a light creamy texture and it leaves my limbs so soft and smooth. It's the perfect pre-tan scrub and it has really helped to eliminate the small bumps on the tops of my arms that usually appear in the winter months. Probably the best body scrub I've used! £17.50 for 150ml.

Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream: The famous bum bum cream! I thought I must have gone slightly mad when I bought this because £44 for a cream for my bum can only be described as madness! That being said, this cream is really beautiful. The first thing to hit me when I opened the tub was the scent - it is very strongly fragranced of rich caramel and a hint of vanilla, so I think it'll be either love/hate for most people. The texture is very rich so a little of this cream goes a long way. I apply it in circular motions all over my bum, hips and thighs (but basically I want to slather it all over my body!) and with consistent use, my skin is very smooth and soft and dare I say it - a little firmer/bouncier! Basically, this cream is worth the hype and although it's pricey, I will probably repurchase when this runs out! £44 for 240ml.

Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts: I have loved these for the last few years. They work a little bit of magic and are what I will always go back to if I am stressed or going through a phase with trouble sleeping. Soaking in a bath with these just relaxes me so much and the aroma of the salts fills the room so I feel cocooned in a relaxation room. I then go to bed, avoiding phones, tvs or any electronic equipment  and I basically fall into a coma! I sleep solidly all night and wake up feeling fresher - I keep them for occasions when I am having real issues with sleep, rather than using them regularly as I don't want them to lose their efficacy. £40 for 400g.

If I had to choose just one of these to be my Cult Product of the year from this category, then it would be the Therapie Bath Salts because I have repurchased them several times and anything that can guarantee a good night's sleep will always top my list!
