My current favourite nude lip picks

My current favourite nude lip picks
None of these products were gifted to me.

No matter what the time of year, I just cannot resist a nude lip! Yes, I'll try a coral in Summer, a berry in Autumn and a red for Christmas, but my go-to will always be a nude, because it's easy and works with all eye looks. Today, I want to share my current six top nude lip products.....

Swatches are completely unedited.

Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect: I am a big fan of CT lipsticks (in case you hadn't guessed!) - I love both the packaging and the formula. This is a classic peachy nude, which I think looks good worn all year round. The formula is moisturising, and with the right amount of slip, however this means that it will only last around 3 hours, before needing a top up. It also makes the lips look plump, which is a bonus!

Charlotte Tilbury Valentine: This was a limited edition lipstick a few years ago, and maybe I shouldn't still be using it, but it doesn't smell and still looks good, so why would I bin it? This is more of a pinky nude, which is my favourite, as it's so flattering and there's no chance of it looking like concealer lips!  Again, this is moisturising, which means the wear time isn't longer than maybe 3 hours, but it's easy to top up. I'd love this to be made part of the permanent line.

Charlotte Tilbury Kim K-W: At one point, this was the only lipstick I wore for months. My complexion is nothing like Kim K's, but it still works. I always pair it with a liner, to ensure I get some definition, and I hope that it's never discontinued as it's one of my favourite ever lipsticks!

Charlotte Tilbury Catwalking: A recent addition to my collection, it looks a little darker in the swatch than on my lips. This is why I always do swatches on my arms, because your natural lip colour will alter any lipstick - well nudes, and light shades anyway. I love how this looks on, as I look polished but I can let my eyes have the focus (which is all we have with masks!). Full review of the collection here.

Fenty Sheer Shiny Lipstick: Makeout Break: I absolutely love the balmy texture of this lipstick and the nude shade works so well on my skin tone. It's ideal for minimal makeup days, but also works well with a face full of makeup, as it looks so fresh. It's really nourishing and because of the shade, top ups are easy, even without a mirror. If you generally prefer glosses, or liquid lips and want to venture into the world of lipsticks, I'd recommend starting with these, as they're so balmy and don't have the heavy feel that some lipsticks do.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte - Crush: I haven't always liked liquid lipsticks, but these are the opposite of the traditional or original liquid lipsticks, which were notoriously drying, making the lips look dry, flaky and with fine lines. These lipsticks are hydrating, comfortable and pigmented. They are also super lightweight, and long-lasting. You don't feel them on the lips, and rather than making your lips look thinner, with the right liner, lips look full. I adore these lipsticks, but this shade, in particular.

Do you like a nude lip, or do you always go for colour? I'd love to hear your preference and favourite shade!
