The 2020 Hall of Fame: Bath, body and haircare

The 2020 Hall of Fame: Bath, body and haircare
Anything marked with a * was kindly gifted to me, without obligation, but most of these are repurchases of PR products.

It's that time of year again, when I share my favourite products with you! I have four categories - skincare, makeup, discoveries and today, it's bath, body and haircare. Some of these products were initially received in PR, but I have since repurchased. I am a real bath lover and use so many different brands and products, as you'll know if you see my empties on Instagram, but these are the cream of the crop products! Some of these products were gifted (marked with *), but I have purchased all of them with my own money.

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil*: I have been using this for years (both my husband & I love it!), so it's nothing new to the blog. I love this shower oil because it's nourishing, yet non-greasy, and it leaves my skin feeling so moisturised, so if in a rush, body lotion could be skipped, so it will really suit busy parents! A little goes a long way and skin feels and smells amazing after use!

Ameliorate Body Exfoliant: Again, not a new product to the blog! This exfoliator is pretty unique, in that it's applied to dry skin and massaged in before you get into the shower. It contains lactic acid, which really helps to get rid of bumpy skin, so I have found it brilliant for the tops of my arms and my knees, in particular. No more chicken skin! I love it because it's non-stripping, due to the nourishing ingredients included. I really recommend this to everyone who wants smoother skin!

Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion*: Another product from this brand, which helps to keep my skin bump free. You need to use this consistently to see results. Some people say that they don't like the scent (lactic acid), but there is a scent-free version available and they also do limited edition scents - last year was rose and this year is green tea and bergamot. I personally don't find the scent offensive, but at least there are options if you do! I love the smoothing results this gives.

L'Occitane Verbena Mandarin Body Cream*: Oh my goodness - I am obsessed with this limited edition body cream, so I need to stock up! The texture is like a mousse, so it just melts into the skin and absorbs so quickly. The scent is divine - a woody-citrus, which is perfect for all year round, in my opinion, but particularly the festive season!

Olaplex No 3: This has saved my hair this year! It's a pre-wash treatment that strengthens the bonds and smooths the hair. With suffering from post-Covid hair loss, this became an essential weapon in my routine and it's a product I have repurchased a number of times. If you suffer from weak or damaged hair, you need this is your life!

Coco & Eve Like A Virgin Super Nourishing Coconut Fig Hair Masque: I'm not sure how many times I have repurchased this mask - it does everything I want a hair mask to do. It intensely nourishes my hair, it doesn't weigh it down, it adds shine, strengthens my hair and, finally, it smells amazing!! A little goes a long way also, which I love, as it's not exactly cheap!

I think I did well to narrow it down to my top six favourites! Would any of these be in your top six? I'd love to hear what your 2020 favourites in this category have been?
