It started with the new Hypnotising Pop Shots Pillow Talk Ultra Violet eyeshadow and then kinda snowballed into a little haul! I just love a purple eyeshadow on my green eyes but it's a colour that is very difficult to get right, so I had to buy it and then the Magic Body Cream intrigued me and I had early access, which lured me in...
Airbrush Brighten & Blur On The Go Face Kit: I actually made a mistake in ordering this. I thought that it contained a Magic Vanish under eye corrector and mini brightening airbrush powder, but instead of the corrector, it's a mini of the flawless finish powder. It's not the end of the world because I love the powder and a mini will be ideal for my handbag, but I really wanted to try the corrector so I'll have to buy that some other time. I'm looking forward to properly testing the brightening powder as the only other powder that I'll use under my eyes is the Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Powder.
Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder (Medium): This is a repurchase and I decided to go for the limited edition packaging. I love this powder because it isn't drying and gives the skin a poreless and polished look.
Magic Body Cream: This is very expensive for a body moisturiser, so unless I win the lotto, it won't be a regular purchase but I just wanted to try it! I never buy into all of the percentages of what the "magic" products do as I really don't know how they test them but I can say that this is a beautiful body cream. I have to say that it isn't as thick or rich as I expected it to be and it does absorb quickly. My skin instantly feels more nourished and that feeling lasts, which I love as some body moisturisers will leave the skin feeling soft but hours later, it will be dry and tight again. A little goes a long way (just as well with the price!), and I love that it's in a tube so I know that I'll be able to squeeze every last drop out. Overall, it's a big thumbs up from me!
Matte Beauty Blush Wand Pillow Talk Pink Pop: I have quite a few beauty wands and initially wasn't going to get this as it's matte, but it's actually gorgeous on the skin. As with all of the wands, be careful when squeezing it out - just twist the top and squeeze gently. It blends beautifully into the skin and gives the skin a fresh look. I love the look of the peach one too!
Hypnotising Pop Shots Pillow Talk Ultra Violet: This is now sold out but hopefully it will come back as it's absolutely stunning! It's a true violet shade, but multi-dimensional and looks beautiful on the lid. The texture and pigmentation are spot on and I can see myself wearing this a lot over the summer months.
Hollywood Flawless Filter: Another repurchase but in a darker shade, which I'm hoping I might wear alone as my base when I'm fake tanned, or in the summer when I don't want to wear a foundation. This has a blurring effect on the skin and adds some radiance without the discoball effect. I love wearing it under foundation for some extra glow too!
Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk Medium: I have used so many of the original Pillow Talk lip pencil and thought I'd try the slightly deeper shade for a it of lip contouring. I love the formula of these pencils!
Limitless Lucky Lips: This was a free gift (it's worth joining the loyalty programme as there as sometimes exclusive products and free gifts), but I already know that I love this formula as I own two other shades already, This is a berry shade so probably one I'd be more inclined to wear in Autumn, but could be lightened by just dabbing and patting onto the lips. Stunning packaging!
I own more makeup from this brand than any other so I think that I can officially call myself a CT addict at this stage! Have you tried any of these products?
P.S. I will add some swatches when we get a slightly sunny day - it's so dark and dull the day that I'm writing this that I wouldn't do the products any justice, but stay tuned!
