Five balm to oil cleansers you'll adore!

Top 5 balm to oil cleansers

It will come as no surprise to regular readers that I love cleansing balms. I adore the texture but also the motion of massaging into my skin and breaking down my makeup/spf, or just to treat my skin to a massage and deep cleanse. The ritual is relaxing and a nice way to unwind at the end of the day. The first balm that probably springs to most minds is Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm, which I like to call an experience rather than a cleanser but I wanted to share five other balm cleansers that I highly rate with you today. I'd also love to hear your suggestions and favourites too!

Revolution x Sali Hughes Butterclean Makeup Meltdown Cleansing Balm*: This is a dreamy product to use at the end of the day. It is buttery soft (containing shea butter, jojoba oil, glycerin, squalane, sunflower seed oil and an array of other nourishing ingredients), which means it melts into the skin so easily and breaks down every last scrap of makeup, SPF etc. It turns into an oil when massaged into the skin and is then emulsified with water to turn into a milk. Skin is left super clean but also feels very nourished. It's a great price too!

Erborian Centella Cleansing Balm*: This is another beautifully textured product - a soft balm, which turns into an oil when massaged into the skin. It doesn't leave eyes cloudy but it breaks down even waterproof liner and matte lip products. They simply melt away to leave the skin clean and comfortable. I adore this brand!

Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup Melting Butter Cleanser: I just have a mini of this at the moment but this will be perfect to take on holiday as a little goes a long way with this.  The balm is very pliable, melts all products into nothing on the skin and when rinsed away, it doesn't leave a film on the skin or leave the eyes cloudy. Instead, skin feels thoroughly cleansed and nourished. The full size has a spatula attached to the lid magnetically, which is genius! Save 21% on Look Fantastic by using the code BEAUTYLYMIN at the checkout.

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm: Regular readers will know that I couldn't do a post on cleansing balms without mentioning this one, which I have used for years and I honestly couldn't tell you how many pots I've used! It is so gentle on the skin, yet no makeup is a match for this balm. I massage it into the skin (eyes included) and really make sure that I have worked it into all areas, then. emulsify and rinse. I adore how my skin looks clear and clean, feels really soft and moisturised. I will forever repurchase! Again, you can save 21% by using the code BEAUTYLYMIN at the checkout on Look Fantastic.

Olivianna Soothing Seeds Oil Cleansing Balm: I have a review of this brand coming soon and have been really enjoying using this balm as part of my routine. The heavy glass packaging has a very luxurious feel to it and the product itself smells like you're in a spa (rosemary, bergamot, rose geranium and eucalyptus). It has the perfect texture - not too stiff and not too slippy, which means that you don't use too much as a little really does go a long way. It 's easily massaged into the skin, as it contains a lot of oils, and breaks down all makeup and SPF. I don't use it on my eyes, due to the essential oils that it contains however these oils don't irritate my skin at all and it really lives up to the soothing in its name. I'm looking forward to telling you more about this brand soon!

I'd love to hear what your favourite cleansing balm is? Is there one I need to try?
