It's monthly favourites time again and I have some great products to share with you! Some are new to me, and there's one rediscovery. Let's get into it!

A face mask for every issue...

 

I'll admit that I don't use face masks as often as I used to because I tend to rely on beauty tools a lot more these days (see post here). That being said, I do love the instant results that a mask can give so I will always have some in my stash for times when my skin needs an instant boost. Here are my most used, depending on what my skin needs at that moment in time.

An eyebag instant eraser? Could we really be that lucky! This product is that latest in the lineup of the L'Oreal Revitalift range and I was kindly sent three products to try. Apparently 1 in 2 women changed their mind about getting a procedure after trying this cream - impressive! But what are my thoughts on the eye cream and lineup in general? Read on...

In recent months, I have found myself caught between being quite bored and also overwhelmed with my makeup collection. I am debating having a massive declutter and just keeping my very favourite products or treating myself to a small number of new ones so that I have a capsule collection that I love (well as capsule as it gets for a makeup lover!). I'm sure that I'm not the first person to feel this way, nor will I be the last. Our taste changes over time, makeup style changes, plus as we age, less is definitely more. Why the new Olaplex mask is not for me...

 

Regular readers of this blog will know that I have dry, frizzy and quite knotty hair. It's also quite fine but I have a lot of it. Really, it's a delight! I'm not really complaining because I've had so much hair loss through illness that I'm genuinely grateful to have hair to work with! Because of the texture of my hair (it's not actually in bad condition, it's really a texture issue), I tend to prefer using masks to conditioners. Skin care is one form of self care for me. This extends further than products but not quite as far as injectables for me (never say never but I've resisted thus far!), but it does include the use of tools.
