My top picks from the Omorovicza Moor Mud Collection

Omorovicza Moor Mud Collection Review

If you've read my blog for any amount of time, you will know that Omorovicza is my favourite skincare brand. I have reviewed the Silver Collection here, the Gold collection here and the Hydro Mineral Collection here. Today, I'm sharing my top picks from the Moor Mud Collection. There are six products in total in this collection but my absolute favourites comprise of three - I do like the other three products but these are what work best for my skin. I am lucky enough to receive products from this brand from time to time but probably buy as much as they send me, if not more! Anything they have sent is marked with a *.

This collection is aimed at congested skin, hence the moor mud, which aims to deeply cleanse and detoxify the skin. As my skin is dry and not overly congested, I have only chosen three products but if you have skin, which is prone to breakouts and congestion, this is the range for you!

Thermal Cleansing Balm: I think that this was the first product I tried from the brand, around five years ago, and I honestly couldn't even guess how many tubs I have used since. One of these days, I will have to invest in the 100ml tub as it's better value than buying 50mls repeatedly. I remember when I first heard the name, I thought that it might be one of those cleansers that heat up on the skin, which I personally don't like, but it is nothing like those. It has a mud/balm texture that breaks down every scrap of makeup when massaged in. I find this ritual a real pleasure as I like watching my makeup melt away, but safe in the knowledge that my skin won't feel stripped afterwards. It contains Hungarian Moor Mud, Sweet Almond Oil and Omorovicza's Thermal Healing Concentrate™ - this is what ensures that skin is left feeling super clean but also soft, comfortable and hydrated. It is also the perfect second cleanse or morning cleanse - it just depends on how decadent I'm feeling as 50ml is probably the smallest cleanser I own.

Ultramoor Mud Mask: Regular readers will know that I refer to this as Spanx for the face as it feels so firming and lifting on the skin, which is the reason I chose to include this over the Deep Cleansing Mask. The moor mud, calcium and magnesium, give the skin a good cleanse but it's the firming action I love, which is as a result of the plankton extracts it contains. My skin looks radiant, plump and clear when I use this mask. it's a facial in a jar! The perfect product to use before a night out, when you want your skin to glow and look firm. I've been repurchasing consistently since first receiving in PR in 2016.

Revitalising Scalp Mask*: I reviewed this last year here, and it's a product that both my husband and I love. My husband has a very sensitive scalp, so I will admit that he uses this more regularly than I do as it doesn't just exfoliate the scalp, it also soothes it. I personally love how it removes product buildup, without stripping the colour and I love how the menthol leaves my skin feeling revitalised. The salicylic acid helps to declog pores which is what helps my husband's irritation. It is applied to dry hair, massaged in and left to do its thing for 10-20 minutes before rinsing and continuing with your usual haircare routine. A little goes a long way with it!
