L'Occitane Immortelle range review

L'Occitane Immortelle range review
All of these products were kindly gifted to me, without obligation to post.

It will come as no surprise to regular readers that L'Occitane is one of my favourite brands - in terms of bath and body care, hair care, fragrance and skincare, so I was absolutely delighted to be sent some top ups from the Immortelle range, as well as some of the new products in the line. I adore this particular skincare line and think that out of all of the ranges within the brand, this is what suits me best as the products are extremely nourishing. The first product I tried from the range was in 2017 and it was love at first use (post here). Immortelle hails from the island of Corsica and is rich in anti-oxidants and anti-ageing ingredients. It is reparative, nourishing and increases the elasticity of the skin. That said, I think people of all ages would enjoy this line as there are different ranges now and the Precious range is for those who are beginning to see the signs of ageing. Let's get into the overview...

Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam:  Regular readers will know that I am not a fan of foam cleansers in general, however I truly can make an exception for this one. I tend to use it as a morning cleanse, applied to wet skin. When dispensed, it is already in foam form rather than having to be mixed with water to form a foam. I massage it into my skin before rinsing and my skin is left feeling very fresh and clean, but not at all tight. It contains Lentil Extract, which acts as an exfoliant, but it must be very gentle as I haven't noticed any change in texture after cleansing.

Immortelle Precious Essential Water: Be still my beating heart! I adore this water, which is billed as a toner, but strikes me as more of an essence. It has that beautiful Immortelle scent - fresh, soothing and not overpowering in any way. This also contains Lentil Extract, as well as Hyaluronic Acid, and I like to pat a few drops into my face, which really quenches my skin's thirst and again, refreshes the skin.

Immortelle Precious Emulsion: This is suitable for all skin types. Those with oily/combination skin could use it as a moisturiser, however if your skin is dry like mine, you could use it before your moisturiser. It has a light, milky texture that absorbs easily and quickly into the skin. It is comprised of Immortelle Essential Oil (of course!), Hyaluronic Acid, Immortelle Super Aqueous Extract (which is an anti-oxidant more powerful than Vitamin E, and will protect against environmental aggressors), and Lentil Extract. Like I said, I haven't used this alone, but using it as a serum has left my skin seriously bouncy when combined with the next product.

Immortelle Precious Cream: The perfect moisturiser for dry skin in the colder months. Rich in texture, yet absorbs easily, it leaves skin instantly comfortable, nourished and looking bouncy and what I really love about it is that this feeling lasts all day. It helps with skin renewal, so visible results will be seen within weeks - plump, firm and moisturised skin that looks fresh and feels smooth. I absolutely adore this moisturiser and have already bought one for my mother, who loves it too, so this is one for all ages!

Immortelle Precious Overnight Mask: I have a full review of this mask in Wednesday's post. It has a bouncy gel texture, which guarantees me bouncy skin the morning after use. I alternate this with the Precious Cream.

I have a review of the Immortelle Overnight Reset Serum here, which I first used in 2019 and am now on my 4th bottle. It's like sleep in a bottle - ideal when you aren't having great sleep! It's been upgraded to contain 10% more Immortelle, making it even more effective, and what I really love is that it's refillable! The eye version of the Reset Serum is a dream to use - lightweight, yet hydrating and it really does help the eye area look brighter in the mornings!

The Immortelle Divine Youth Oil is lightweight, yet really packs a punch in terms of nourishing the skin, increasing its firmness and elasticity. It absorbs easily and a little goes a long way. Not only does it leave skin looking luminous and feeling nourished, it also contains anti-oxidants, which protect against free radicals. With consistent use, you will definitely see firm, bouncy, nourished and glowing skin!

All of these ranges (Precious, Divine Youth, and Overnight Reset) all come in gift sets this Christmas, which is a brilliant way to try a number of products from the range, without paying full price. I also ALWAYS recommend getting a L'Occitane Advent Calendar to my friends and family as a way of getting to know the brand because they contain a variety of skin, hair, bath and body products from the many ranges and I bet you will fall in love with so many products! Plus, they are always beautifully designed!

Are you keen to try any of these products? I'd love to hear!
