Body moisturisers that smell amazing but also nourish the skin

For some people, using a body moisturiser daily is too much faff and optional. For me, on the other hand, I have used one daily since I was a teenager because my skin is so dry. I quite often use supermarket brand body lotions but I also love a nice scented body lotion that doesn't break the bank and also really nourishes my skin. They're a nice treat for if I'm feeling under the weather or just want to spoil myself. I have found over the years that highly perfumed body products can often be drying due to the high alcohol content. I have found some great body moisturisers that not only smell great but more importantly, really nourish the skin and I want to share them with you today.

Patrick Ta Major Glow High Shine Skin Perfecting Body Creme: This body cream has a rich texture that transforms into light whipped mousse texture when applied to the skin and that melts so beautifully and easily. It contains shea and mango seed butters amongst other skin nourishing ingredients that leave the skin feel plump, supple and hydrated without being greasy or sticky. The scent is warm without being cloying with bergamot, sandalwood and jasmine being the predominant notes. What I also really love about this product is the sheen it gives to the skin - it doesn't look sweaty, just a nice glow. Also, I find that a little goes a long way!

Replica Lazy Sunday Morning Body Lotion: I adore Maison Margiela fragrances and decided to treat myself to the matching body lotion to make the scent last longer. A lot of body lotions that match a fragrance are drying but this one manages to be nourishing whilst also lightweight and it absorbs quickly so there is no hanging around in the nude whilst waiting for it to absorb. The fragrance is beautiful with notes of pear, rose petals, iris accord and orange flower on a base of wood and musk. It's warm without being overpowering and smells like fresh linen - comforting!

Fenty Skin Butta Drop: I'm a huge fan of Fenty Beauty and Skin in general so it should be no surprise to see three products from the brand here. This lotion is the original and I love it because although it's described as a body milk, and it has a light milk texture, it is actually super nourishing and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and supple, and looking healthy. It also absorbs quickly and smells beautiful with notes of jasmine and bergamot. (Are we seeing a pattern emerge here with the scents that I like?!)

Fenty Skin Amber Bouquet Butta Drop: This has the same texture and benefits as the original but with a warm amber scent that really lingers on the skin. This is especially beautiful for the colder months as it's a comforting scent.

Fenty Skin Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream: This cream has the same nourishing mango and shea butters of the lotions but with the addition of seven oils and glycerin. It's rich in texture and absorbs easily to leave the skin feeling nourished, supple, plump and comfortable as well as smelling beautiful. A little really does go a long way with this body cream and I particularly love to apply it at night because the scent is comforting and the cream really cocoons the skin. Bliss!
