I'm back from my brief hiatus - I was really ill and couldn't even contemplate blogging but I'm feeling a little better now so today I am sharing with you the only nail polish that I will be wearing this Christmas season! It isn't exactly budget-friendly (€19 for 8ml) but if you can't treat yourself at Christmas, then when can you?!
I have never tried anything from Burberry before (not even Pale Barley eyeshadow - shock!), but as soon as I laid eyes on this beautiful nail polish, I simply had to buy it. Military Red is a stunning, true red. Not orange red, not pink red, just true red and it is the perfect colour to wear for Christmas. I absolutely love the festive gold lid with the classic Burberry pattern. It has a wide brush, which is my preference because it makes it so much easier to paint my nails evenly. It has a high gloss finish, even without applying a top coat and I find that it lasts around 5 days without chipping. For me, this is the perfect red and the perfect formulation. If only it weren't so expensive! I think I will be keeping this for special occasions only.
