September beauty favourites

 

So we're officially in Autumn and whilst I appreciate the beautiful colours that nature bestows upon us at this time of year, I have to admit that I still miss summer! Before we get into the last quarter of the year, let me share with you some beauty products that I've been loving this month!

Salt & Stone Body Wash*: I was kindly gifted a set of four body washes from this brand, which I would describe as a brand of both style and substance. I love the aesthetic with clean, minimal packaging that would look great in any bathroom however the product inside is just as beautiful. Sometimes scented body washes can smell amazing but strip the skin of any moisture but these Salt & Stone body washes contain hyaluronic acid, which hydrates the skin. They also have some other great ingredients such as niacinamide and Vitamin C, and they also smell beautiful! I'm working my way through the set of four minis before deciding which scent I love most to purchase the full size.

Sol De Janeiro Rosa Charmosa Dewy Body Cream: If you usually find some of the Sol De Janeiro scents too gourmand for your taste, I would encourage you to try this Rosa Charmosa a try because it's so different from any of the originals. It's a light scent with notes of rose, passionfruit and caramel - it might sound rich but it's actually not cloying at all. The texture is also lighter than some of the others I have tried. It's so easy to apply to the skin and absorbs quickly, leaving the skin nourished and with a heathy sheen. Don't worry, it doesn't look as though you're sweating - skin just looks healthy and glossy. I bought the mini size to test but I love it enough to buy a full size!

Rare Beauty Harmony Flexible Lifting Gel: I needed a new brow gel and have heard so many people rave about this Rare Beauty one so I decided to give the clear one a try because I need to get in store before buying a tinted one so that I can be sure I get the right shade. I love this brow gel - it holds my brows in place without any crispiness and without leaving any residue. I also love how tiny the brush is and that it's tapered.

Brow Aid Lash Lab Mascara: Regular readers will know my mascara requirements - it needs to add volume, no smudging or flaking, can't leave lashes crispy and must be easy to remove. This mascara ticks all of those boxes and more! It also conditions the lashes to keep them soft and it holds a curl. I love it and this brand in general.

MAC Lip Liner in the shade Soar: I've gone old school and started wearing Soar again. I love MAC lip liners in general - they really have stood the test of time! I like that they don't drag on the lips and they're nicely pigmented. Soar is a great colour for me because it's close to my natural lip colour so I can wear it with just a lip balm or lip oil and I'm good to go!

Sculpted By Aimee Cream Luxe Bronzer: Another great product from this Irish brand. The texture of this bronzer is beautiful because it blends into the skin seamlessly yet it doesn't just disappear from the skin. It doesn't go patchy, it just leaves the skin looking beautifully sunkissed and radiant.
