Empties & speedy reviews #25 featuring L'Occitane, Givenchy, Jo Malone, Lee Stafford, Estée Lauder & more!

Another month, another empties post! This month I have a lot of bodycare products and some skincare, haircare, makeup and a perfume that I finished, so let's get started!

Skincare:

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair: This is a holy grail product for me, I have repurchased it so many times since I began using it around 7 years ago. If I could only use one high end skincare product, this would be it. It heals, smoothes, plumps, hydrates, repairs - everything I could ask for. It also helps my skin look like I've had more sleep than I actually have. I have already repurchased.

Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Eye: I received this from Debenhams as part of their Mother's Day promotion and I really enjoyed using it. It really plumps and hydrates the whole eye area and is a beautiful, but expensive eye cream. I may repurchase in the future but at the moment, I have an Algenist eye cream that I am loving!

Haircare:

Lee Stafford Breaking Hair Treatment (2 tubs): I absolutely love this hair mask - it leaves my hair soft, sleek and strong and smells gorgeous. I flew through these two tubs but just before I went on holiday, I had around 4 inches cut off my hair so I think the tubs should last longer from now on. I have already repurchased.

Revlon Equave Detangling Conditioner: This is by far one of the best detangling sprays that I have ever used. It smells really fresh, doesn't weigh my hair down and my brush glides through my (messy, tangled) hair after I spray through the lengths with this. I have another leave in conditioner to finish and then I will repurchase.

Bodycare:

Lancaster Tan Maximiser After Sun: Compared to other after suns, this is expensive but it is absolutely worth the money. It is a light lotion that soothes and hydrates the skin and is said to extend tan by one month - I'm not sure about a month, but it definitely extends my tan longer than other after suns. I will repurchase for my next holiday.

Hawaiian Tropic Exotic Coconut After Sun Body Butter: I bought this when I ran out of the Lancaster after sun. I adore the coconut scent of this rich body butter. It is very moisturising but I don't think it does anything to prolong a tan as such, it just hydrates and smells great.

Jo Malone Geranium & Walnut Body Scrub: I'm so sad to have finished this body scrub because it is the very best scrub I have ever used! It smells divine, it's gritty enough to really exfoliate but creamy enough not to tear the skin and the result is baby soft skin. I absolutely LOVE this and will repurchase in the future when I'm feeling spendy or maybe I'll drop hints around my birthday or Christmas!

L'Occitane Almond Tonic Body Oil: I love this body oil and this is my 3rd or 4th bottle. It is light in texture and feels very refreshing on my skin, absorbs quickly and hydrates my skin. I adore the almond scent and love L'Occitane products in general. I have a lot of body moisturisers to get through so I won't repurchase at the moment but probably will at some point in the future.

Clarins Exfoliating Body Scrub: I received this scrub from Debenhams to promote a Gift With Purchase a few months ago. It is a really nice, quite gentle scrub. It leaves my skin soft and ready for an even fake tan. I prefer the Jo Malone scrub and I also like some budget body scrubs, so I won't repurchase at the moment but may in the future.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream: This is my second or third tube of this foot cream and I really like it. It really softens the skin on my feet and a little goes a long way. It absorbs quickly and there is nothing I don't like about it so I will probably repurchase in the future but at the moment I am using another foot cream, which I absolutely love and is around half the price.

Make-up:

Stila Mile High Lashes Mascara: This mascara is similar to Benefit Rollerlash in so far as it gives lift, definition and some volume but not as much volume as my favourites such as YSL Faux Cils, Too Faced Better Than Sex and Estée Lauder Sumptuous Volume mascara. I think it would be suitable for day wear if you like a hint of volume and a curl, but not too much drama. I may repurchase in the future but not at the moment.

Givenchy Noir Couture Waterproof Mascara: I really didn't like this mascara at all - waterproof my arse! I used this on holiday when we went to Blizzard Beach in Orlando and ended up with panda eyes! It doesn't add any volume and was difficult to remove so overall a big thumbs down from me and I definitely won't repurchase.

Miscellaneous:

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess: This is the perfect summer scent because it reminds me of holiday! It smells of coconut/sun cream/pina coladas and instantly transports me to a sun lounger on a beach! I absolutely love it and I already have another bottle on the go!

Shu Uemura eyelash curler: This should have been binned a while ago so I'm doing it now so that it will force me to buy a new one! I love the curl this gives my lashes and I can definitely tell the difference when I use it. I have gone through at least 8 of these. I will repurchase either this or perhaps the Charlotte Tilbury curler for a change.

So that's all of my empties for this month. My next empties post will hopefully contain a lot of skincare products that are housed in heavy, glass containers because one of my Nude moisturisers fell into my skin and cracked it yesterday, which means I need to buy a new sink! I'm so annoyed about it so I am going to use up my heaviest products before getting the new sink installed & will bear it in mind when making future skincare purchases! Has this happened to any of you before? What products have you finished up recently? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
