Recent beauty purchases....

I really haven't bought many beauty products this year (well, compared to other years!), although I'm sure you're looking at the photo above and saying "yeah, sure!", but most of these products are necessary replacements. I am still working my way through products from my Advent Calendar, plus I'm really trying to be more focused and mindful with my purchases this year, as I have basically more beauty products than I could ever need! That said, I've bought a few things. The only beauty product that I bought in January is Charlotte Tilbury's Beautiful Skin Foundation, which I reviewed here. Although there have been A LOT of offers this first quarter, I have resisted a lot of them, and just bought the following products!

Skincare:

Caudalie Grape Water: This was a repurchase. It's ideal when your skin is feeling sensitive and dehydrated, which mine was when I was in bed for a week (or two). It's such an under-rated product. The mist is fine, it hydrates, doesn't irritate the skin, is perfect for using throughout the day, and it's very affordable. Use my code LYMIN to save 20% on Look Fantastic.

Biossance Squalane & Omega Repair Cream: I have wanted this for so long, and my friend, Jasmine, cemented the fact that I need it in my life, so when Cult Beauty had 20% off for a few days, I snapped this up.

St. Tropez Purity Tan Face Mist: This is a repurchase, which was necessary, because it's just so much easier to use than drops, when I'm feeling tired/lazy, but want a hint of colour in my cheeks. It doesn't leave me tangoed - just a light, golden glow, and the mist is so fine that it would be impossible to get streaks! Love it!

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm: A repurchase I made when my lips were cracking. I have other lip balms, but this is super rich and I knew I needed it back in my life. A little goes a long way, which I love.

Bath & Body:

This Works Sleep Plus+ Pillow Spray: Another repurchase! This was on offer (I think it was two bottles for £35, plus my LYMIN code gave me 20% off on Look Fantastic). I use a pillow spray every night, so it was a no brainer to buy it on offer.

(Another!) Neom Wellbeing Pod Diffuser and 4 oils set: Not strictly a necessary purchase, but this was on offer and the oils were basically free (a saving of £60), so it would have been madness not to, given that I wanted to buy another one as we're moving house later this year and I want to have a few of these in the house.

Jo Loves A Bath & Shower Gel in White Rose & Lemon Leaves: Not a necessary purchase, as such, but it was reduced to £21, and I adore this scent, so I couldn't resist! I've had this before and love how the scent fills the bathroom, and lingers, plus it doesn't strip the skin.

Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts: A necessary repurchase! These bath salts practically put me in such a deep sleep when I use them, and with both my husband & I being ill, sleep was very important, so I bought a refill before we ran out. The only thing is, you'll sleep so deeply that you might snore, but the good thing is that your other half will be snoring too, so you won't hear each other!!

Caudalie Vinotherapist Foot Beauty Cream: I really like the scent of Caudalie products, so thought I'd give this a go, as the range is new. As expected, it smells divine - light and fresh, and it's been keeping my feet soft and smooth.

Coco & Honey Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam in Ultra Dark (I have a stash of five bottles!): I adore this fake tan and a few sites had it reduced, so I stocked up (I'm praying that doesn't mean that it's being discontinued!). This gives a really even and golden tan (don't let the Ultra Dark name scare you!), and it lasts around a week, so there's nothing not to love!

K18 Leave In Molecular Hair Mask: I had to buy this to see what all of the hype was about! It's expensive, but a little goes a long way (depending on your hair length, of course!). Read my review here.

Kérastase Chroma Absolu Soin Acid Chroma Gloss: I don't want to say too much about this, as I have a comparison post with L'Oreal Elvive Wonder Water Colour Protect* coming up next week. They're similar products, with a HUGE price difference, so I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts with you.

Makeup:

Charlotte Tilbury Pinkgasm: I've wanted this for a while, but it was sold out everywhere for ages, so when I saw that it was back in stock, I grabbed it. I didn't even browse the site, just bought what I wanted and checked put (well done, me!). I usually prefer peachy blush tones, which is why I bought Peachgasm initially, but I think Pinkgasm may be universally flattering. I love the formula, which I dab on and then blend with either my fingers, or a beauty sponge, and it gives my skin the most beautiful flush of colour.

It may seem like a lot, but the majority were necessary replacements, which I think is pretty good! I'm trying to think and as far as I can remember, I haven't bought any clothes (just some more pyjamas - comfort is a must when you're ill!). So overall, I think I've done pretty well, and I hope this continues. I only want to buy something new that really wows me, or else products from my wish list (which is quite long, to be fair!).

How about you? Are you on a low spend or have you been shopping lots recently? I'd love to hear!
