Too Faced Love Flush Long Lasting 16-Hour Blush Wardrobe

Too Faced is a brand that goes up & up in my estimation with every product I try - their eye shadow palettes are amongst my favourites and I wanted to try one of their blushes from the Love Flush range since they were first released but could never decide which one to buy so when I saw that they were releasing a blush palette with all of the shades, I knew it had to be mine! I was eagerly keeping my eye on the Debenhams website, as they are the only Too Faced stockists in Ireland the UK as far as I am aware, but months after the U.S. release there was still no sign of this palette arriving. I know we can order directly from the Too Faced website but when I checked, it was sold out - of course, all of this made me want it even more so when I spotted it on Rose's Beauty Store, I snapped it up! I've had a little time to play with it & want to share my thoughts with you today.

The packaging is very cute & girly with love hearts all over it and I love how slim it is, which would make it perfect for travelling. It is cardboard packaging, which makes it very lightweight and it has a good sized mirror on the inside of the lid. The individual full sized blushes are in heart shaped packaging so I like that they continued that in this palette with the six mini blushes in the shapes of hearts. The full size blushes are 6g each but these mini blushes are 2g each so they are quite mini, but this palette costs £34 (£27 if you buy direct from Too Faced but there are additional taxes), whereas the individual blushes are priced at £25/€30 each so it's very good value. I did worry that because the pans are so small, that I might have difficulty in getting my blush brush right in there, but actually it isn't a problem at all. Now on to the blushes themselves - they have a really soft (but not as buttery as the Gwen Stefani/Urban Decay palette) and smooth texture, well pigmented and very easy to work with. I have yet to wear them for a full 16 hours (does anybody actually wear make-up for 16 hours?!) but I find that they last very well and still look perfect after 7/8 hours. I love the variety of shades in here and all are very wearable - no added shade for the shock factor in here.

Love Hangover is a pink/coral, which is my favourite type of blush shade, in general, and this was the one I was most tempted to buy in a full size before purchasing this palette. It has a very, very subtle sheen, which is very flattering on the skin.

Baby Love is a pink/nude with a very subtle shimmer that is perfect for everyday wear and I think is very suitable to wear with a bold lip, when you just want a little somethin' somethin' on the cheeks.

I Will Always Love You is a peach/coral and I think this will be really beautiful when I have a little colour in my cheeks because it has a hint of golden shimmer. I have a few similar colours in my blush collection because I find that this type of colour helps me to look a little healthier!

How Deep Is Your Love is a coral with a hint of pink and it has a satin finish. Again, this is very similar to other blushes in my collection because I just love coral blushes.

Justify My Love is a cool-toned bubblegum pink with a subtle shimmer and this is probably the one I was least excited about initially because I didn't think it would suit me but I actually really like it. Having said that, a mini of this size is enough for me.

Your Love Is King is a rosy/plummy toned pink with a satin finish. For me, this is the least flattering on my skin tone, however it isn't impossible to work with. I think I would get most use out of this in autumn/winter.

Overall, I am really happy with the palette and I know that when I hit pan, there will be one or two shades that I will buy the full size of. I'd love to know your thoughts on this palette or which Too Faced blushes you already own & love?
