My top 5 Spring fragrance picks featuring Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Jo Malone & more!

So Spring has finally sprung and it's time to start rotating my make-up collection to reflect the change in season. I usually start with perfume, then nail polishes and finally, make-up so today I am sharing my top 5 fragrance picks from my collection for Spring!

Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin: I absolutely adore this zesty, uplifting, fresh fragrance. You cannot help but feel invigorated when you smell this scent. Whilst it is a zesty, citrus scent, it also has a slight hint of warmth that differentiates it from other citrus fragrances.  Some people find that Jo Malone scents don't last very long on their skin but, for me, this is not the case and I can still smell it a good 5/6 hours after application. This would be in my top 5 fragrances of all time!

Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gioia Eau Fraiche: This is a very fresh, aquatic, musky-citrus scent. For me, this is a clean, fresh, just stepped out of the shower scent, yet the muskiness prevents it from being too citrusy or too aquatic. It is the perfect balance and if you like a mint/citrus/jasmine then you will love this. My only peeve with it is that the scent only lasts around 3 hours before I need to re-apply.

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede: This is a very sophisticated warm rose scent, yet it has a touch of freshness which is why I think it will make a perfect Spring fragrance. It is an unusual scent & quite different from the other fragrances listed here today due to its warmth but I find that it smells nicer around 30 minutes to an hour after the first spray. It seems to settle into a soft, warm, grown-up rose scent instead of the sickly sweet than can sometimes be associated with rose. Perfect for both day and night wear!

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream: I have to begin by saying I absolutely love the bottle - all of the Daisy fragrances have daisies incorporated, usually in the form of the lid but I love how it was carried down on to the bottle this time in the form of mini daisies. The perfume itself is both floral and fruity, but neither is overpowering. I would describe it as a fresh, airy and clean scent and I think it is perfect for Spring. It lasts around 4/5 hours on me before it needs re-applying.

Chloe Love Story: I received this for Christmas & whilst I fell in love with the scent instantly, I think that I will wear it more often in Spring. To me, it smells softly of roses but is also quite citrusy and fresh. There is nothing too over-powering about this scent and I think it smells very feminine but not necessarily a sexy scent. It is perfect for daytime and when I layer it over the matching body lotion, I can smell it for around 8 hours.

I would love to hear what your Spring fragrance picks are? Do you rotate your products and fragrances with the season? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
