How much is my face worth?

I've seen this post on some blogs before and yesterday when I did my make-up before we took my Mam out for Mother's Day, I took a photo in order to do this post today! I only decided to do it after I had applied my make-up, so I didn't intentionally use either budget or high end make-up - just what I felt like wearing yesterday. I'm half-dreading adding it all up at the end of this post, but here goes!

Primer: I went with my current most worn primer - Marc Jacobs Under(Cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer. (€38). This is really lightweight but also hydrating and provides the perfect base for applying foundation.

Foundation: I combined some Nars Sheer Glow (€41) with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk (€45). Armani Luminous Silk has been my number one foundation for many years because it gives me a flawless finish and it doesn't settle into any fine lines or pores and is very long-lasting. I had fake tan on yesterday so I mixed some Sheer Glow with it to get the right colour match.

Concealer: My current favourite concealer is DIOR Diorskin Nude Skin-Perfecting Hydrating Concealer (€33). As the name suggests, this is very hydrating so I love to use it on my under eye area but it is also perfect to cover blemishes.

Contour: I just did a light contour with Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow (€65). I didn't want a heavily contoured look and with this product, I can add some definition to my face and this product does just that without looking too muddy.

Highlight: It had to be BECCA Champagne Pop (€38). I love this highlight and even though this was a daytime look, I couldn't help but use this because I really wanted to add serious glow to my skin!

Blush: I used MAC Powder Blush in the shade Springsheen (€24). This is a peachy/golden shade and I used a very light hand to apply this just to lift my cheeks. I adore this blush.

Brows: I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer (€18.10). I absolutely love this brow product because it makes doing my brows so quick and easy and really helps to give them a good shape.

Eyeshadow: I absolutely love Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Palette (€47) and I wanted a warm eye look so this was my first choice. I can't get enough of these eye shadows and even a year after buying it, it's one of my most reached for palettes.

Eye Liner: I used two eye liners: Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner (€18.20) and Eye Of Horus Goddess Pencil (€20). This pencil liner is perfect for tight-lining because it doesn't spread onto the waterline. I like tight-lining  because it makes the lashes look fuller. The Stila liquid liner is probably my favourite liquid liner because it is really black and doesn't budge at all, which is perfect for my watery eyes!

Mascara: I love lots of volume to my lashes so I used Too Faced Better Than Sex (€23). I love how dramatic my lashes look when I use this mascara and it doesn't make my lashes crispy or smudge - love it!

Lips: My current favourite combination is Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk (€22) with Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Between The Sheets (€30). I think it is perfect for a daytime look and I wanted a matte lip because I had so much glow going on with the rest of my face!

So now for the scary moment - the total price of all of these products is €462.30!!! It seems a bit crazy when I see it written down, but of course I have to remember that all of these products will last me a very long time so the actual cost of the amount of the products that I actually wore on my face yesterday is probably less than €5 or thereabouts.

Have you ever added up the price of the products you've used on your face? Do you think you would be shocked if you actually did? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
