Design.ME is a brand that is new to our shores but has been in North America for a while. It's a professional brand that is available to buy from Sally Beauty and I was lucky enough to be sent three of the four products available. I've been using them for the last few weeks and want to share my thoughts on them with you today!
PowerDry.ME is the product that I was most excited to try because anything that promises to reduce the time I need to blow dry my hair will always grab my attention! It also conditions, smooths and protects the hair. It's a strange product because when I spray it on the lengths of my hair, I can actually see droplets of water appear - this led me to think that it would actually take longer to dry my hair rather than shorten the blowdry time, but I was wrong! I definitely don't agree with the claim that it cuts blowdry time by 50% but I do find that it does speed the process up by about 5 minutes, which is pretty good given that I have a lot of hair! It also doesn't weigh the hair down at all and doesn't make it greasy quicker so it gets a thumbs up from me!
Fab.ME is a leave in conditioner that detangles, hydrates, smooths and protects the hair. I always use a leave in conditioner on my damp hair before I comb through and my requirements are that it isn't heavy and actually helps make it easier to detangle my hair. This product ticks both of those boxes and leaves my hair shiny too. To be honest, I don't think it's necessary to have both this and PowerDry.ME as they pretty much perform in the same way.
Puff.ME comes in two forms - one for thick hair and the light version for fine to medium hair, which is the one I have. It's a volumising powder that can be sprayed into the hair to add volume. I found this really messy to use and although it does add volume, I absolutely hated the feeling of this in my hair. My hair felt dry and quite dirty/gritty and I just couldn't wait to wash it back out! I know some people love powder products to add volume but I have other products that I prefer so this one is not for me.
If you are interested in buying any of these products, you can find them on Sally Beauty. I'd love to hear your thoughts on them and especially what your favourite product for adding volume is?
