Five current loves...

Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance, Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise, Emma Hardie Amazing Face protect & Prime, Freshly Cosmetics Hyper Concentrate Eye Contour Serum, Clarins Bronzing Compact 001 Sunset Glow

I had a small impromptu blog break, for a number of reasons - my health has taken a real dip over the last few weeks, which is the primary reason, my husband had some time off work and when he does, I like to spend quality time with him without the distraction of blogging and thirdly,  I was enjoying reading your responses to my 'Spilling the tea' post. It was interesting to hear from other bloggers about ghosting/bad treatment from PRs and I'm glad it started a conversation. Anyway, today I'm back with the post that I had actually planned for last Thursday and it's all about five current loves, five products that I'm using non-stop at the moment.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Protect & Prime:  Although this can be used as moisturiser, I actually like using it as a primer because my skin is dry but it would work fine as a moisturiser and primer in one on normal or combination skin.  I find that it has a blurring effect on my pores but it also really nourishes my skin so that all foundations glide on over it and don't sink into fines lines or cling to any dry patches. The SPF 30 is an added bonus. £46.

Freshly Cosmetics Hyper Concentrate Eye Contour Serum:  I've been using this eye product for around 7 weeks now and I absolutely love it. It 's a serum with a pipette dispenser and I use one drop for each eye. It can be used on eye lids as well as the under eye area, gently patted in. An eye cream can be layered over it but I don't find it necessary. It feels instantly cooling and soothing on the area. It reduces puffiness, helps to banish dark circles,  plumps the skin and makes the area look more rested. It contains vegan hyaluronic acid and a host of other hydrating and firming ingredients. I love how lightweight it feels and I find that concealer applies evenly over it without any creasing or pilling. An all round winner in my opinion. £31.

Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance: I spoke about this moisturiser in this post but, in short,  I think that this might be the perfect moisturiser for my skin.  It's clinically proven to deliver moisture 10 layers deep - ideal for my Sahara-like skin.  It leaves my skin really soft, nourished, supple and plump - I can see it being one of my forever repurchased products. £42.50.

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise Rose Gold:  Since I bought this cream shadow, I haven't worn any other eyeshadows. I adore the rose gold shade, which really flatters my green eyes but I also love how easy it is to use. It applies evenly and smoothly and doesn't fade or crease until I remove it, up to 9/10 hours after application. I need to purchase a backup. £22.

Clarins Bronzing Compact 001 Sunset Glow:  I reviewed the entire Clarins Summer Collection here.  I love this compact because it contains a blush, bronzer and highlighter, which is really convenient. The formula of the powders is really smooth so they apply evenly without any patchiness or grubby areas. They all blend into the skin so well and look natural, which I love because I'm loving pretty natural/minimal makeup at the moment. If you're in the market for a new bronzer, you can't go wrong with this. £32.

Have you tried any of these products? What are you currently loving? I'd love to hear!
