A Charlotte Tilbury Christmas....

A Charlotte Tilbury Christmas
Everything, apart from one lipstick, was kindly gifted to me, without obligation.

I had to dedicate a whole post to Charlotte Tilbury Christmas releases, because there are so many beautiful products, and something for all budgets!

Charlotte Tilbury Smokey Eyes Are Forever Palette Review

I have to begin with the Smokey Eyes Are Forever Palette! I think that I have bought these long palettes every year, but last (can't remember the reason why!). There are four sets of three shadows; one to prime, one to enhance and one to smoke. This year's palette is probably the most universally flattering, in my opinion.

Fist up, we have Love Eyes, which is a trio of everyday, nude and rose gold in matte, satin and shimmer finishes.

Next up, is the Power Eyes Trio, with bronze and khaki/olive green shades. This is my personal favourite.

Happy Eyes is a warm peachy-gold trio, that will look fabulous on all eye colours and I think I cold see myself wearing this a lot in summer, or when my face is fake tanned, as the warm tones are so flattering.

Finally, there is Confident Eyes Trio, which is a shimmery plump-pink shade, with a deep plum and black combo to finish it off and create a smokey eye, which isn't too harsh.

The case is black, sturdy plastic with a starburst pattern and CT logo. I have to say that the texture and formula of the shadows in these longer palettes is easier to work with than in the regular quads, in my opinion. The pigmentation is spot on - not too heavy, buildable if wanted, but one swipe is generally enough, and I find that the shimmer apply best with my finger. Any eyeshadow lover would be absolutely delighted to find this under the tree, or it would also make an excellent gift for those who don't own many (or any) eyeshadows and aren't too confident with their application, as the fact that it's broken down into three steps really helps.

The Pillow Talk Beautifying Eye Filter Duo contains a full size Pillow Talk mascara, which I love, because it holds a curl, but also lifts the lashes and separates them, so there's no spider legs look!  It also contains a Pillow Talk eye liner, which can be used along the lash line, all over the lids and blended, or to create a cat eye effect. It's a very flattering deep  berry shade, which people who find black too harsh, will love.

The new Limited Edition Luxury Palette of Pearls in Cosmic Pearl has four shades, to prime, enhance, define and smoke.

This quad is pretty versatile, as the top two shadows could create a minimal daytime look, whereas using all four, will take you from day to night. I find that the shades are buildable, and I love the duo-chrome effect of the smoke shadow, which is difficult to capture in a photo. I love the cosmic design on that particular shadow, and the pearlescent detail on the outside of the quad itself.

Mini Collagen Lip Bath Icons Review

Next up are lip products! The trio set of Mini Collagen Lip Bath Icons is brilliant value, as they aren't really mini size at all. These glosses give a mirror finish shine, and can be worn alone, or over a lipstick, to make lips look plump. They have a slightly minty feeling on the lips, but it isn't tingly. The three shades are: Refresh Rose, which is a clear gloss, Pillow Talk, the shade that everybody knows in some form - a pinky nude, and Walk Of No Shame, which is a berry shade.  They aren't sticky and they feel nourishing on the lips.

The packaging of the Limitless Lucky Lips is so pretty, with the kisses all over them. These are slimline lipsticks, which help to achieve precise application. They are pigmented, so one swipe will suffice and they will ft perfectly into a handbag. Available in five shades;  I have Cherry Dream (first on the left in the photo) and Everlasting Blossom, which is second from the left in the photo above. These are very comfortable on the lips, and also very long-lasting. Despite being matte, they make the lips look plump. A gorgeous stocking filler for a lipstick lover!

Finally, I have a lipstick in the shade Famously Pink, which is limited edition, with stunning mini crystals on the lid, and lip swatches all over the bullet. This is a beautiful coral-pink shade, which is from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. line, which has a satin finish, is very hydrating and comfortable to wear, and makes your pout look more plump!

There are so many sets on the site, with exclusive duos and trios, where you can make great savings, both in makeup and skincare. I'd also recommend checking out the Nudegasm range (review and swatches here). There is something to suit all CT lovers, for all budgets! Some sets/products are already sold out, so if you like the look of any of these products, either for yourself or others, I wouldn't delay in buying!
