Two new releases from Urban Decay....

Urban Decay Quickie Review, Urban Decay Naked x Smiley Mini Eyeshadow Palette Review
This products were kindly gifted to me, without obligation.

It's a while since I tried anything new from Urban Decay but it's rare that I'm disappointed by them. The original Naked palette (now discontinued) really did change the game when it came to neutral palettes and I hit pan on so many shades in it that I eventually had to bin it! Since then, there have been many additions to the Naked range and today I'm going to share my thoughts on the latest one, as well as their new multi-use concealer: Quickie.

Urban Decay Mucho Happy Mini Naked Palette Review

The new mini Naked palettes are a collaboration with The Smiley Company and they believe that you're never fully dressed without a smile, which I agree with! You're also never fully dressed without Urban Decay, so this is the perfect collab! There are two palettes available: Chill Happy and Mucho Happy. Each palette contains matte, metallic, satin and shimmer finishes. Both contain some neutrals but also some beautiful pops of colour and are packed in colourful, happy packaging. I was kindly gifted Mucho Happy, which has a beautiful pop of blue and a bright yellow, yet also neutrals and a truly beautiful shimmery bronze. All of the shadows are pigmented, long-lasting and vegan. I like that it's a small palette that can take you from day to night as I can create a neutral look but then I can add a pop of colour, Even for those who aren't into bright colours, or are scared of them, then you could use them as a liner. If you're into the "clean girl" trend, you could create a beautifully subtle look with Psyched and Blast, whilst either Partay or Spritzer will instantly transform your look into something for the evening, with Smiley and Cybersmile being the bright, popping colours designed to make you smile, which is never a bad thing, and being a bit braver with makeup is good too!

Urban Decay Stay Naked Quickie Concealer Review

There are 24 shades of the new Stay Naked Quickie Concealer, which is available in warm, cool and neutral tomes. I was kindly sent three different shades and whilst none are a perfect match for me, they are great for mixing to create the right shade if I want to wear as a foundation, or to highlight and contour. Now this is a brilliant product - it's hydrating and lightweight, yet pretty full coverage, and buildable if full is the only option you'll use. A tiny dab under each eye is all that's needed if using as a concealer because it's super pigmented and the brilliant this is that there is a brush at the other end, which blends the product in beautifully (you can wash it). plus it has a cap so it won't get messy in your handbag. It's ideal for on the go top ups, or even if you're having a makeup free day but are going out in the evening as it takes up minimal space, yet works as both a foundation and concealer and the angled brush does a great job of buffing the product in quickly and seamlessly. I find that although it's hydrating, it doesn't budge at all - it's the perfect summer makeup bag product.

Two brilliant releases from the brand that keeps on giving! I can see Quickie becoming a staple product in many makeup bags!
