L'Occitane festive bath and body releases

L'Occitane festive bath and body releases 2019

It's very hard to beat L'Occitane when it comes to festive packaging! They just seem to get it right time and time again and this year is no exception with jewel tones and decorative accents, which are nature themed this year to reflect the brand's commitment to reducing waste.  I will be featuring some of the gift sets in my Christmas Gift Guides next month but today, I wanted to share some products from the limited edition festive collections.

Classic Shea Collection: The products in this collection are housed in deep blue packaging with star, fir tree and hot-air balloons accents.  There are hand creams, shower oils, hand soaps and the classic Ultra Rich Body Cream, which is in the photo above.  Regular readers will know that the skin on my face doesn't like shea butter but for some reason, my body loves it! This cream is perfect for the colder months as it's really hydrating and nourishing, which leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and without any dry patches. It also has a really comforting scent. As it's a cream, it takes a little longer to absorb than a body lotion but applied at night ensures that skin is still hydrated the next morning. This would make a gorgeous Christmas gift. €39/£34.

Honey Harvest Collection: This range is made with extracts of lavender honey, which is produced by organic beekeepers. The products include lip balms, body creams, soap and a hand cream. This range is not only very nourishing, it also smells beautiful with the combination of rich honey and calming lavender. The travel size hand cream is perfect for in your handbag, or on your desk or bedside table. I always love how moisturising, yet non-greasy, L'Occitane hand creams are. €10.50/£8.

Festive Garden Collection: This range combines ethically sourced green mandarin from Brazil and ylang-ylang flowers from the Comoros Islands to create a beautiful scent. Using these ingredients helps to support sustainable agriculture by encouraging further planting of trees. I adore the deep pinky-red packaging with tree motifs. A little goes a long way with this shower foam and it really fills the room with fragrance! It would make a gorgeous stocking filler or Secret Santa gift. €18.50/£16.50.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this collection? Do you like the packaging?
