Giving Embryolisse another go....

Embryolisse, Embroyolisse Creme Hydratante a l Orange Moisturising Cream With Orange Review, Embryolisse Micellar Lotion Review

Back in the day when I first started to read blogs and watch YouTube, Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrate was very much one of the most hyped products online.  It wasn't easy to get hold of but because of the hype, I wanted to try it so I ended up paying above the odds and a big shipping fee  to get it from France. I was expecting big things but was disappointed because it just did nothing positive for my skin - I felt that it wasn't nourishing enough for my dry skin but it also broke me out in very sore, cystic spots. At the time I really couldn't figure out why my skin reacted so badly but I now know that my face hates shea butter, which is in the ingredients list. Because of that I was never tempted to try anything else from the brand....... until recently! A new take on the original moisturiser has been released, this time without shea butter and with the addition of Vitamin C. I was very intrigued when I was offered the opportunity to try their Moisturising Cream With Orange. I've been using it for around 5/6 weeks now as well as their 3-in-1 Micellar Lotion and am ready to share my thoughts.

Moisturising Cream With Orange:  This is described as being suitable for those with normal to dehydrated skin. I have dry skin but with the right hydrating products in my routine, this moisturiser works for me. It's non-greasy but definitely nourishes the skin and gives a matte finish.  I have found that my skin looks bright and radiant and although my skin is sometimes sensitive to Vitamin C products, I haven't had any issues with this moisturiser. The texture is creamy but not too rich and it absorbs quickly. I always use a primer so I can't say how it works under foundation but if you have normal skin that doesn't need a hydrating primer, you will probably find that this works well for you in that regard. If I'm using it at night, I sometimes add a few drops of oil for extra nourishment but that's not necessary during the day. I can honestly say that this is 100 times more suitable and impressive for my skin than the original cream.  The exclusion of shea butter and inclusion of Vitamin C have made it suitable for my dry, dull skin.

3 in 1 Micellar Lotion: You might remember in my Omorovicza Peachy Micellar cleansers post, I mentioned that I had found two micellar products that I love because they aren't drying. One was the Omorovicza cleansers and this was the other product. My problem with some micellar waters that I have tried in the past is that they either left a film on my skin or else left it feeling stripped and parched. No such problem with this 3 in 1 lotion. I use some lotion on a cotton pad to remove my makeup and I love that I don't need to tug around the gentle eye area. I just hold the pad over my eye for a few seconds before wiping away and all of my eyeshadow and brow product. I also use it to remove my base products before following with a cleanser. It's a very gentle but effective lotion that doesn't dry my skin out and doesn't leave any residue. It doesn't sting my eyes and is ok to use when I'm wearing lash extensions as it doesn't disturb them. Overall, I'm very impressed!

Have you tried either of these products? Are you a fan of the original Lait Creme Concentrate?
