My Sunday Riley Top Picks - Cult Beauty Brand Of The Month

My Sunday Riley Top Picks - Cult Beauty Brand Of The Month

May's Brand Of The Month on Cult Beauty is Sunday Riley - one of my favourite skincare brands, so I thought that I would share my top three products from them with you and also remind you that if you spend £150 on the brand, you will receive a free full size Pink Drink Essence (worth £45). I love that they sell products in two sizes, so you don't have to spend too much if you are unsure if you will love a product.

Good Genes: I first bought this five years ago and have used countless bottles since then. The Lactic Acid version is no longer available in the EU (although I'm unsure what the situation will be in the UK going forward, now that they've left the EU). I explained why in this post where I compare the Lactic Acid version to the new Glycolic Acid one. I like both. Although Lactic Acid is meant to be the gentler of the two, I find that I can almost feel that one eating away the dead skin cells. I don't experience that with the new version, however both work very well at keeping my skin bright, soft, smooth and radiant. If you are new to acids, you may experience some tingling, but I personally don't and I also don't experience any redness of inflammation either. I tested both using one on each side of my face and there was very little discernible difference, but I did notice that my fine lines looked more diminished on the Glycolic Acid side. The reason I have repurchased it so many times is that it gives the results that it promises - it reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines, it reduces inflammation and it also leaves the skin feeling very soft and smooth. I tend to just at night only, but it can also be used in the morning.

Juno Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil:Another product that I have used bottles of is this oil, which really brings the glow to dull skin. It contains Vitamin C, Omegas 3,6 and 9 and amino acids, which ensure that the skin is supple, nourishing and radiant. It also contains a blend of cold pressed oils, including blackberry, blueberry, cranberry and grape, which might make you think that it's a thick or heavy oil, however it isn't and it can be used both morning and night. I find that if my skin is particularly dry, mixing a drop with my foundation works wonders.

Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream: I first received this in PR around a year ago and repurchased since, because my skin loves it. It's probably more suited to winter, as it's a very nourishing cream, packed with ceramides, peptides and fatty acids. It smells like almonds, which I personally love, but even if you don't, it soon dissipates. This is the perfect moisturiser to use if your skin's barrier has been compromised, as it will repair it, but even if it hasn't, it will replenish the skin and leave it feeling so soft to touch and plump. A truly beautiful moisturiser.

I love so many more products from this brand, so it really was difficult to narrow it down to just three - I could easily pick six, but if you have skin like mine, these are the three I would recommend starting with.

What's your favourite Sunday Riley product? I'd love to know!
